iPad - Should or Shouldn't I Get One?

iPad - the youngest baby of Apple is certainly a buzz in these days market. But is it really that innovative and useful? We can find lots of reviews which aren't quietly helpful, because they concentrate on technical features. I will try to tell you something about iPad usage.

Let's start with the most common question which we can hear nearly everywhere. Is an iPad oversized iPod Touch or iPhone? Obviously, the answer is pretty simple: "Yes, it is". However don't misunderstand that, it's not a negative opinion. We should know that such a device won't work as our desktop PC, because it was designed for other purposes. It's a simple, easy in use computer designed mostly to browse internet, play games or use famous apps. As you can see each mentioned thing is a part of a big word "entertainment". Of course that doesn't mean that you can't work on iPad. Yes you can, but you shouldn't demand too much from it (for example you may write a text or edit a spreadsheet). In addition it seems that the iPad is useless until release of 4.0 firmware. I strongly agree with this opinion, because multitasking is one of the most important, if not the most important, point in tablets. For that reason it's hard to rate this device already, but I'll give it B now and probably A- with multitasking. I trust Apple that they'll do their best to implement new features and make them usable. Finally, I want to say a word about two versions which are available on the market. I should mention that my grades were made for version with A-GPS and a place for SIM-card. Just lower the grades by one and you'll have an older version rating, so accordingly C and B-.

All in all, I can truly recommend this device to anyone who sometimes wants to lay on a sofa browsing the Internet comfortably or have to entertain small children in the back of his/her car. It’s a solid piece of new technology which is worth spending money on it.
